First we would like to thank, Steve and Ricky from Who Are the Southern Baptists? we had a blast hanging out for the weekend, and we look forward to doing it again.  Another huge thank you to Finks, the Blue Nile and Coach, it was one of the best hometown shows we have played in a good while.  Laura and the Blue Moon Diner crew were fantastic, they treated us well, and we really enjoyed playing in your lovely spot!  Lastly The Velvet Lounge was surprising awesome as well, I figured we would be swallowed whole by the big city, but there were warm bodies, cold drinks and a lovely sound guy named Nester, thanks for putting on the suck filters and helping us sound as good as possible! 

We are resting up for the rest of the month, and by resting I mean doing lots of other stuff, but not carrying music gear around.  Hopefully we will find time to practice and get some more stuff together before we start playing shows again in February.  First up in February is Saturday the 5th playing in Harrisonburg at Clementine with a great group called Woody Pines.  They put on a fantastic show, so make sure you come out and check them out.   The next weekend we are heading out with our new friend Ryan B and the Dead Sea, we are heading back to the Bazaar in Roanoke on Friday the 11th and then heading to the Meridian in Williamsburg for Saturday the 12th.  I haven’t been to a show at the Meridian since winter of 2002,  that trip ended with 12 people crammed into one room at the holiday inn, needless to say I am excited to make my return to Williamsburg!
